We’ve been granted usage of a special event 1×1 callsign.
Our expedition will be operating as K3I.
Well it’s official!
We’ve acquired our permit for Field Day 2010 on Assateague Island. Our planned location is just North of the Virginia border in Maryland. The approximate coordinates are 38.027144 N / 75.243310 W. The grid square locator is FM-28, although there are plans in works for one of our operators to setup a temporary portable station 2 miles South, just inside the FM-27 boundry for all you grid square chasers out there.
